In December 2009 we joined Core Cluster for Infocommunication and Innovation. The Cluster was established in October 2007 by companies from all over the country dealing especially with corporate telecommunication and informatics.
A cluster nowadays is one of the most common developments of economic and corporate development programmes. A cluster in general is a geographic concentration of interconnected businesses, suppliers, as well as associated institutions in a particular field. Various corporate and industrial case studies in the developed countries have clearly demonstrated since the 1980s that in global competition the competitiveness and success of companies depends more and more on the quality of their local business environment.
After almost a decade of glory, regional cluster recently arrived at Hungary: it is included among others in the regional economy building programme of Széchenyi Plan, thus the need for international experiences emerges in an increasingly wider circle in the country. A reason for this is that a part of the support of European Union (EU) is aimed at the cooperation of enterprises and at local business environment, basically at the development of clusters. A comprehensive programme started in Hungary for the development of economy, which focuses not on single companies but on “clusters” based on the voluntary but profit-oriented business cooperation of companies, as well as on the “Pole cities” (Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Pécs, Szeged, Székesfehérvár and Veszprém).

Preceding Events:
- Establishment of an entrepreneurial community based on moral foundations of a new type in 16 October 2007
- Enhancement of trust and cooperation within participants as well as associated enterprises and companies
- Conveying experiences in a genuine way regarding corporate management through integrating experiences of participants
- Organisation of professional programmes and lectures by inviting internal or guest lecturers
- Setting an example for the actors in economy
